Hi all,

So I've been with 2Degrees ultimate fibre unlimited plan 900/400mbps $110 per month broadband for some time now (1year) and have resign the contract for another year which 2D granted me Amazon prime free for 1 year with Half-Price Broadband Plan for 1 month. However, I noticed that my latest bill, 2Degrees is charging me $67.50...not $42.50..? Is anyone else being charged this? Tried reaching 2D agent, but no response and it's been 50 hours now. Screenshot below:

P.s. I was going to PM @rugrat to see how his offer is going with 2D but it seemed like he did not go along with it.

That plan is only $85 (if you don't have a pay monthly mobile with them) for new customers. Maybe they've only credited 1/2 month plan fee on that promo price (2 x $42.50 = $85 which makes sense), even though as an existing customer you still pay the $110 per month. Sure they'll fix up the extra $12.50 one-off credit if you let them know.

Heyyyy thanks for the reply. Ah I see. Though, since I pay $110 per month. With the half price (50%) discount offer from 2D, I should be charge for this month "$55.00" ($110 - 50%)? Do you think I should just go ahead and manually pay $55.00 even though the bill is asking for $67.50? I'm a good customer but I don't want to pay for an incorrect price.

If they credit the $12.50 you'll only need to pay the $55 regardless so best bet is get confirmation the remaining credit has been applied. @2degreescare may be able to help if you're having no luck on standard support channels.

Ah, thought this thread was to do with quitting a contract (resigning) as opposed to renewing it (re-signing)!

Call me a pedant, but this is a perfect example of how important a little ol' hyphen can be...

Mods - any chance you can add the hyphen to the thread title?

Thank you for the quick reply. Ah I see. Cause my bill atm is over the due date so that's why I'm wanting to do a manual payment on $55.00 (half price charge) now. Yep, I did contact 2D prior to my bill due date but no response. Hopefully @2degreescare can help me out. Sorry to be a nuisance but do I just wait for them (@2degreescare) to reply here or do I have to PM them directly?

Honestly if you want it sorted immediately try giving them a call (credit applied + make payment at same time) - this time of day you may get through within a reasonable time frame.
