Sorry if this is the wrong place to Post this...

I am getting multiple messages from a couple of people. The common thing (apart from me - which of course could be the issue) is coming from Older apple devices to my Android, an fairly late model OPPO of some description, a low end one I can't remember off the top of my head what model (dual SIM from PB if that matters - shouldn't but...) carrier for all is 2deg mobile.

This generally happens when the handset does not acknowledge the delivery of the SMS to the handset so the SMSC / SMSR resends the same message for delivery

I am having zero issues with repeat SMS

Ah good point, yeah that makes sense, it only seems to happen however to these people to this number (2 deg). Probably to do with the dual sim thing, I have had no end of trouble with it. the 2deg one is really only a back up for text / kind of a burner number that I use with data only and have been forced to use for texts. I wonder if it's therefore an OS issue, and that is dependent on a patch from OPPO or if I can do something myself?

Looks like it might have been to do with my non standard SMS handler. Funny that it was only on 2deg to 2deg and between an Apple and Android device.. Thanks for your help
