Recently when using a panosonic phone through orcons modem on a gigabyte plan, the phone call keeps dropping sound I can hear the caller but they can’t hear me. If I hang up and call back it works ok. I haven’t had any problems with this before on Vodafone but only since switching to orcon. Has anyone else has this problem?

My parent are with slingshot and have the Netgear router with uniden cordless phones, about half the time when he calls me I can not hear him but he can hear me.

If I hang up and call back ( 2DM ) it works fine.

He does not call my mobile a lot but had had to over the past week and I have noticed the issue.

Calls to my 2talk number seem ok.

I have not raised the issue with Slingshot yet but sounds like a similar issue.
