What I mean by fine is that youtube does not cache during peak hours... so that means, as I have seen the correlation 100% of the time, that internet speed test to LA is > 70kB/s

Also the other day I downloaded the latest 1Up show (500MB) from http://gamevideos.1up.com/ 1MB/s Yes... 1000KBs! This was.. around 10am a few days back. I was impressed to get a speed for the first time that I would routinely see on Telstra cable. Just d/l another 150MB file from 1up.com which is coming down 120KBs on average.

Keep up the good (QOS) work Snap.

Fred.

p.s. youtube speed consistency is more importatnt to me and my son. he likes steam trains at the moment.

I'd like to change but I'm now going to wait until the 3-strikes law comes into affect, the soon to be infamous Section 92A.

http://torrentfreak.com/kiwi-3-strikes-law-081017/

Then move to a provider after that.. based on a number of things.

65KB/s average to pull down 150MB at... 3pm with Snap.

*sigh*

So it took an hour.

Perhaps you are on the nite owl plan getting the ##^^ speed.
very similar to Xnet saga, who are on torrent pan having horrible speed issue.

What about those not on nite owl plan ? are they suffer speed issue too ?

We have had this nightowl discussion before J2k.
I'm on the pro plan.. there was no night owl option when I transferred to Snap from Orcon

yes.. I have dta, thank you for the great suggestion. To return the favour I suggest installing greasemonkey, the goto userscripts.org and search for 'trademe' then install the 'trademe photoview' script :)

although it is a little broken someone in the forum there has instructions on how to fix. it works for me.
