@NickMack, could you please tell me what the IP addresses correlate to on your network?

I am seeing a LOT of traffic (hundreds of GBs) from these on an ongoing monthly basis and I'm wondering what they are.

I have children, so I suspect they are probably YouTube caching servers :D

202.124.125.3

202.124.124.170
202.124.124.171

202.124.107.45

Cheers!

Errr.. @NickMack hasn't worked for 2Degrees for some time.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Nick doesn't work for 2degrees anymore however:

202.124.125.2
202.124.125.3
202.124.124.170
202.124.124.171
202.124.124.172

are Netflix caches and

202.124.107.44
202.124.107.45
202.124.107.46
202.124.107.47

are YouTube caches.

That'll explain the traffic but if you're on Unlimited does it really matter ;)

Ah, my bad.  I've been a little out of touch lately!

Who is the new GZ 2D champion now?

Thanks Michael.

Yeah, I'm on unlimited, but I like to keep an eye on where my traffic is coming from so I don't unnecessarily clog up the pipes!

If you have kids you probably want to check it's not a pr0nhub cache ;)

The 2degrees subforum is monitored by 2degrees staff so somebody will normally chime in. For anything urgent however you're always best to give them a call.

Yeah, I read it but I don't really work in the fixed broadband space, which is where the majority of the questions seem to be these days. Apparently my edumacational skillz have learned you lot everything you need to know about mobile already.

Because mobile is very simple. With 5G, it's even easier.

Yeah, we just take our 2G and our 3G and voila, 5G! But we have LTE too so I'm not sure why we haven't just skipped straight to 9G. Or maybe that should be 7G since we turned our 2G off already.

Please note that 111.69.69.69 actually resolves to resolver02.2degrees.nz so that "typo" is fake news.
