Anyone got a /29 on a residential plan on 2d.

I enquired a while ago and got no luck - just wanting to see if it's possible to get a /29 or similar?

Yes I have contacted 2D support and have also enquired with 2d on this forum but no luck in getting an answer.

I ended up putting in another connection which is fine but the contract comes up in a month or so and just looking at options.

Curious why you need it? Maybe more likely on a business connection?

Yes it may be more business plan orientated and I'm not averse to changing it to a business plan if the numbers stack up but I would imagine that it would work out to about what I'm currently paying for the 2 connections and the advantage I have with the 2 connections is failover if there are issues on the 2D network (rare in the 8 years of being with them/snap)

I got a /29 on residential with Voyager. Needed it for testing stuff, so not 100% sure if they normally allow it. Approx $22 per month.

@BlinkyBill - useful information to know, not exactly advertising. When my 2D contract is up for renewal, I will probably look for multiple IP's

I don't see advertising. In any case, for those reading up: please use the report button if you suspect something as mods don't read all posts so just commenting like this won't trigger a review.

I think he's referring to the signature. It's a little on the long side.

I have a /30 with 2degrees which costs $10 per month over the standard static IP cost. They wouldn't do any higher than that when I last checked.

This results in 3 or 5 usable IPs, depending on configuration (4 if NAT rules are used with the /30 instead of configuring it as a routed network + the single static IP).
