Another new update for the 7590 came out today. It has extra fixes from 7.25.

If you manually check it you will see 7.27 available now.

Here is the info on it.

https://en.avm.de/nc/service/downloads/?product=fritzbox-7590

I have been using it today and have had no problems.

Found a little quirk on this firmware. Specifically when you have two Fritz's in a mesh. Thought I'd post here just in case someone else falls into this. It's a bit of a frustrating one.

After upgrading my 7590 to 7.27, I found that one of my 7490's (running 7.21) kept falling out of the mesh network.
When I got some time to investigate, I noticed that this was happening for a few minutes every couple of hours. I was going to roll back my 7590 but saw that 7.27 was actually available for the 7490 as well.
I upgraded the 7490 and the issue has gone away. Huzzah.

Any comment made here is my own and should not be taken as that of my employer. You've seen one of these statements before.

I find it odd that WPA/WPA2 mixed mode is available for the primary wifi network but not the guest network. I've got some IOT stuff which doesn't like WPA2 only mode. Guess I just need a separate router to run an IOT network. Probably not specific to 7.27, but I sent them some feedback on it in case there was an easy way they could add this support for the guest network.
