Hi @2degreescare @morganbrowne @pwner,

I'm seeing increased latency to the US, is there un/planned work being done on one of the direct paths on Southern Cross cable or is there a capacity issue forcing traffic to route via Australia?

Nick

Looks like planned work on southern cross, traffic restored to the short path at 1am.

I reached out to NZNOG, and no-one else was aware or experiencing the same behaviour, seems like an odd maintenance window.
