Hi, I have been having an issue with my internet dropping for 30sec to a min every few min on and off for a while now. usually only happens on the weekends but thats when I'm using it the most so I'm not sure if its doing it at other times. It only seems to drop when I am watching youtube, at least that is when I notice it the most.

I thought it was just the wifi dropping but I connected my desktop up with a cable and it is dropping also. the last few times its done it I have logged into the router and it says the uptime is around a min

I have fibre through orcon. I have tried restarting both the router and the ONT (they are on the same switch easiest to just power cycle at the wall)

Anyone have any ideas what could be happening. or something i could change to make it more stable

Replace the power supply.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Spyware:

Replace the power supply.

Is that a common problem with these routers?

Power supplies do develop faults. Nothing else a user can do apart from asking ISP for replacement.
