I got a phone call from 2deg. 0800022009

Wanting to talk about a resign on my vdsl acc's which was nice as the rep advised that if I resign I can save $14 per connection.

This was great. and Qdos to 2dgrees for promoting a resign with a saving for the customer.

THen it got strange.

I was told I could save even more with my mobile. which again great. but I advised am on legacy Vodafone business plan which is great value with limited data (which suits our use) and half a dozen phones and mentioned the price per connection.

Then I was offered a supposedly better value 2deg plan. with no details or even price mentioned

Great I said please email me the plan inclusions and costing. and I will check it out.

At that point I was told I needed to accept then and there. and I could not receive and review the offer.

This turned me off immediately has it has the feel of all the cold call electricity and gas suppliers.

(the ones that make fair-go)

If a proposed plan cannot be emailed to a customer , then the customer allowed to review it.

This feels like Bait marketing. and I advised the agent of that and terminated the call

@2degrees why can we not inspect and review a offer of better value.

Hi! Me again :)

It's not our usual process to be pushy like this - I am so sorry. We should always email the details to you if you need more time to process an offer we make for you.

We're keen to look into this call further, if you're comfy to do so, can you please advise me (via DM) when we called you (date and time), to what number, and your account details and name?

Thanks for posting this and keen to look into this further with our sales team
