hi all,

might be a silly question, but is anyone having really unstable latency these few days with 2d broadband?

i was playing a few games on steam today and over the weekend, i was having really jumpy latency with the network.

downloading and streaming seems totally fine, im not even sure what to do for initial troubleshooting.

any insight?

 cheers,

Sam

Are you testing over Ethernet and using the Fritzbox?

You haven't answered if you are testing over Ethernet. It may be a good idea to temporarily disconnect the EdgeRouter and turn wifi off to conduct the tests.

They will be able to see your connection go up and down and can check elements from their side as a start.

Nick.

On 2d UFB in CHC, here.
I was playing a handful of Steam games over the weekend, latency seemed to be about where it usually is. And last night, had another session about 8pm-10pm. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Providing us with service type, location, what game you're playing and any other info such as traces would be very helpful.

Cheers

range 2D tech support, it is helpful tho need to wait 30 in the queue

the tech on the phone helped me reset the speed profile (i hav no idea what it is, but he reckon it will help)

played the same few games last night, it was much better tho still abit jumpy.

was advised to monitor for few more days, but im really happy that the tech on the phone is really helpful

thanks for all the help you guys offered :)
