Have just had a few clients complain of receiving SPAM texts in the last few days. I've received a couple also but at many as the images below.

All have hyperlinks and reference the delivery of a package or a package arriving early. Im assuming the hyperlink then leads off to a zero-click vulnerability but haven't tested it.

Pretty annoying that given theyre using multiple number they can just block.

Are these legit NZ numbers?

Yes, we're aware of this, have informed our customers of this and have turned to the media to assist us in letting us know. These do not look to be coming out of NZ. Our team is actively working with the other telcos and together to mitigate these.

Surely you can block these? Why is responsibility handed off to DIA (who are powerless to do anything)?

Morena @boosacnoodle - we are, as mentioned. We also suggest reporting to DIA.
