Hi everyone,

I didn’t sign up for our internet (the trigger-happy partner did) so I don’t know what details he supplied in the application and he cannot remember what was asked during sign up.

Does Slingshot use PPPOE authentication and if they do, what should we use for credentials for a fibre connection? Or is it DHCP?

We’re using a temporary Huawei HG659 router until I can move our UDM over…

It's DHCP, assuming that that information's still up to date.

Vocus Authentication is dual stack across all brands Stuff/Sky/Orcon/Slingshot/Flip so PPPoE or DHCP you choose over VLAN10

The only exception to this is early stuff fibre connections churned from
Devoli which were untagged VLAN10

DHCP with VLAN 10.

Nothing else needed.

Thanks everyone.

Worked with PPPOE with random credentials, noticed it says connected after we’ve left it aside to do other works in the house
