This may not be a 2Degrees issue but we are trying to port a Vodafone prepay to 2Degrees. We have tried four times now and just keep getting txt messages from 2Degrees stating there is an issue and to call them. We did manage to get one callback (wait times are horrendous) and the CSR told us we needed to put the VF Sim back in and click on the txt message from them confirming the port. However we have had no txt messages from VF at all. We have checked number and Sim number multiple times and details are correct. After spending several hours on hold we are ready to just give up.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue could be?

Does the VodafoneNZ SIM start with 6401? Should be 16 digits

I wonder if VodafoneNZ have a different SIM card# in Siebel

Call VodafoneNZ and ask does this match what is in your system

I take it the VodafoneNZ number is in a active state and you have activated the 2degrees number?

If you get conflicting story from VodafoneNZ PM me the VodafoneNZ SIM card number and mobile number and I will get a tech to check if everything matches up to the backend

I haven’t spoken to VF yet, still waiting on 2Degrees to get back to me.

Appears to have been an issue with VF. Last night about 8:30pm we got a heap of txt messages which all came through at the same time. These were the messages that were supposed to have been sent through the day confirming we wanted to switch. So this morning we have managed to reply to another one and process is now underway.
