Hi guys -

I am an asterisk novice and run an asterisk box at home.  Having bravely tried to update the kernel I buggered up the zeptel drivers and now I am trying to reinstall them.  I did however wonder though whether Orcon ran any sort of VOIP service and since I have my calls with them anyways, whether it was possible to register my asterisk box directly with Orcon.

Would save my trying to resurrect my zaptel channel.

Any ideas?

D

THe orcon service is "VoIP" however the last mile (from the exchange or cabinet to your house) is analogue.
Therefore, unless you know someone high up in orcon technical no.

The main providers for this are 2talk and WxC

Orcon is apparently working on a VOIP offering to be known as Digital Voice, but it's not available to the general public yet.
