As the subject says I am looking to switch over to 2D from Bigpipe. Tired of online customer service and 2 months free plus Amazon Video for 6 months is nice.

I have fixed IP with BigPipe and was wondering does 2D offer it and if so, how much is it?

Any other gotchas regarding their service (I would be going for the fastest plan)

The info is here 2degrees IP Addresses | 2degrees

What reason do you need a static IP?

I run a little file sharing site for the family and also an on-demand sftp server but I guess I could move that to the cloud. It's historical - I've always had one through all the ISP's I have used

Hi

Just one thing to note with the speed, because of the way various systems work sometimes it can take a few days for the speed to be something other than 100Mbps down.
(it's driven mainly by what plan is being billed, but when you are new there is no plan billed until that part of the process is completed, so it may stick to a 100Mbps down / full upstream plan).

Often this isn't an issue, but if it is, just give the care team a call and get them to check the QoS profile and have that fixed if it doesn't match your plan.

Cheers,

Neil
