When I switched to 2D late last year, I got a deal of $90 a month which inc some discount and Prime Video for 12 months.

Was all good, but then at start of this year it seems, I'm getting charged odd amounts, such as $84 one month, then $115 another, and now $121 - yet I cant figure out how/why this is occurring.

Only account change made was to add a static IP last month, which is $10 so for a total of $100 a month.

Anyone else getting odd amounts ?

Looking at invoices in more detail last night, seems like I'm getting charged for Prime, then its discounted, then charged again :) Then when I added static IP, got charged full month, then discounted for partial month then charged in advance.... I hate bills :D

I have to admit 2degrees invoices are one of the most confusing ones around, the way they charge in advance + some in arrears + some extra charges + some discounts. Especially when you make some changes.

Just got my bill today, and I got bill twice, not very good 2degrees, what with frequent drop offs with our cell phones, it would appear that the 'Good Guys' are not so 'Good'

I have emailed a complaint, not prepared to wait on a phone 😏

@Graymond Is it a new connection or you mean you got emailed the bill twice or did you pay the last bill late and 2degrees have billed again and the payment did not make it on time before another invoice was generated?

What do you mean drop offs on your cell phone poor coverage or what?

Please provide more information are you using a imported handset that does not support all the bands or is it just poor / low coverage?

Thanks for response,

we are one of the early customers of 2Degrees in this area, so, no, not a new account.

On the invoice

Plans and recurring charges ---- $123.00

One-off charges ----------------- $123.00  what is this ???

Re cell phone drop offs, we frequently have our call connections disconnected.

@Graymond So your latest invoice is $123 x 2 = $246 when it is normally just $123 total?

Do you have broadband at home and do your handsets support WiFi calling?

What is the area? I do not need the address or anything just the general location

Yes, and Yes

we are using Fritzbox 7490 router in house, with two Fritzbox handsets, our cell phones are 4G and 5G capable.

There is a general perception that 2Degrees has a number of bad reception areas in the Kawerau Whakatane area..my wife has a Spark card in her phone as she has no 2Degrees at work in TePuke, and is trying to convince me to change.

Doesn't make it right though, does it? How telcos have been allowed to keep up with such terrible billing for so long I have no idea. I guess it's because the invoices are still technically correct at the end of the day, they just suck.
