I have an account credit and I’m thinking of using it to purchase a product outright. Has anyone done this before? It doesn’t appear I can access the credit details anywhere in my account but I know it is there. If I add anything to my shopping cart even if I am logged into my account the credit isn’t recognised.

I was hoping to avoid having to go into a store (170km round trip) or having to call.

Does the credit show on your monthly bill?

I had an issue with the monthly bill in that I had two billing profiles, the credit was under one but has now been transferred to the active profile that has a connection. I know it’s been transferred as the monthly bill has been paid from the credit.

In that case, (Check with 2D before proceeding) but you should be able to sign up to a Interest free phone and then immediately cancel it opting to pay the balance on your account/bill (which the credit will cover)

Yeah I could do that but I assume it would incur a 1 month plan charge and involves extra hassle. I just want the credit to show so I can use it in the online shop and purchase an item outright.

You would need to request a refund back to you

You could add it to the existing connection if that doesn't already have one added, That way you wouldn't incur an extra plan charge.
Knowing how other Telcos run their online shop, They're are completely independent systems that you will have an real struggle to get them to deduct / apply credit between.
I would call their sales team and see if they can sell you a device outright and charge it to your account?

Yeah I think I will have to get in touch with them by the sound of it.
