Just a query as to how long it takes for the speed increase to occur, currently has increased to: Ping-19, DL-319.32, UL-428.62.

Requested upgrade 23/08/2022, FRITZ!Box 7490 router which was running on Ultimate speed some time ago.

you have a ping of 20ms so unless you are on one of those networks that backhaul to Auckland there should be a closer server to you to test to.

What was your max speed previously when you had "Ultimate speed"?

There are a lot of things that can influence the test. Your internal network speeds, the speed to the Speedtest server etc.

When I test from my computer in the office via wifi I get around 435 Mbit/s down and 133 Mbit/s up.

Testing from a network connected computer via Vodafone Wellington (I am on the Kapiti Coast) I get 934 Mbit/s down and 516 Mbit/s up.

When I tested from Chrome and the default server for my location on that computer (Xtreme networks, Wellington) I got less than half that speed down.

Ethernet cable to FRITZ!Box 7490 to Auck. to ChCh  2 degrees.

Have been on this plan before and got top speeds as I did on my previous ultimate plan, curious about what may have changed.
