About to set off on a bit of an international trip (Australia, USA, Canada), and I can't find any info on international roaming data packs...

Are these no longer offered? Can't say I am thrilled about $8/day for a month long trip...

Is this really the only option (other than getting a foreign sim)?

how long you going to be there.

to be honest, you better bring a multi-sim phone and get a new australia simcard. it is so much cheaper over there.

once you landed on the sydney airport (i am assuming), at least 3 phone company in front of your eyes.

there is a wall of simcard usually at the supermarket for you to choose and buy

@kaczor47 Use WiFi calling when possible free roaming.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Yeah, I am mainly after data, rather than voice/text. In fact, I could do without voice completely.

@Jacky - given that I'll be in 3 countries, I was hoping to avoid getting the local sims.

Might look into global sims - never used one before...
