When I last bought new phones for me and my wife, neither of the scratch and win things on the back of the boxes worked, either via SMS or the website. Gave up in the end because they're pretty irrelevant on anything but base plans anyway.
Fast forward to last week, finally upgraded and tried the scratch and win, once again, doesn't do anything either via SMS or the website.

Has anyone had these things work in the past couple of years, or is my shambles of an account just breaking them?
