Seems I'm the first to post about this.

Just got a txt from 2degrees, sounds like you may get some free data each day, if you play.

Pro tip, don't deny camera access. or at least, don't refresh the page, after denying it, thinking the pop up would reappear, it doesn't, you just get a, already played message instead. I guess it doesn't check beyond verifying your phone number, as having "played".

If you deny camera access, it appears you can still hit next, and something happens, but I hit refresh like a crazy person, and lost todays chance, so I don't know till tomorrow.

Link: https://datapinata.nz/ (only works on mobile)

If anyone else has managed to play, would love to hear what happens.

It used AR to put the pinata into my environment and when I whacked it, I got 1 hour for the data clock.

Ooh you did too. I did a search for datapinata and nothing came up, so thought I was the first.

Anyway, sounds like you just get free data time, not so much free data (as in GB) which you can save for later?

For anyone curious, if you deny camera access and just hit next, seems to work just the same.

But also seems you only get data clock minutes. Which may be may not be so useful.

Also here are the T&Cs in the screenshot, incase someone searches it:

Available until 22.01.23 with an active degrees plan. Packs last 48 hours from win. Fair Use Policy applies. Redeemed via Data Clock app, see app for details. 2degrees may cancel or amend this offer at any time. Plan & Data Clock T&Cs apply. Click for full T&Cs.
