Wondering if anyone can give me some pointers. My IPv6 fails after a couple of hours after the router is rebooted. I have put it back to standard from within the software but no change.

I removed my AP and IPv6 still fails after a while.

Not a great problem but I would like to see it working properly.

TIA.

I don't suppose anyone is interested but I will outline what I have found that may be the cause.

The AP is a re-purposed HG659 and it feeds three ethernet devices like TV, NAS and Sky box. It also provides wifi to a computer that can't get a signal from the Orcon router (no, I can't cable it through the glass sliders that separates it and I can't run cables anyhow else as I don't own this place).

But, the HG659 is connected to my router via a D-Link powerline and I have just found this model can't handle IPv6. Somehow, after a variable number of hours this stops IPv6 from being propagated to all devices, incl a router cable connected computer and wifi clients.

There is no need for IPv6 yet so will go with it as is.
