Was scratching my head the past couple of hours as my mobile data wasn't working. Switched my APN from direct to internet and hey presto it's working. Switched back to direct and again no access.

Anyone else finding the same? Wondering if it's a temporary issue or if maybe they've removed it as an APN.

Cheers.

No, it still exists. I'm using it to post this.

Thanks for the reply. How bizarre, 100% not working for me anymore. Will try on a different cell tower later and see if the issue replicates. Otherwise will give it a day and raise.

Possible update: try direct but set your DNS to 8.8.8.8. We are having internal DNS server issues. It just so happens that my home router, which uses direct, is already using Google DNS.

Only option I have in the APN settings (android 12) is 'server'. I tried that but didn't help unfortunately.

Working fine at home camped on a different cell site. Will try again tomorrow back where it wasn't working today and see.

We've temporarily worked around the DNS server issue by advertising the Google DNS servers on this APN - so yes, it will be working again for you.

Great, thanks for that. Can confirm it is now working at the location where it wasn't yesterday 🙂
