Hi folks,

Does anyone know if 2Degrees Mobile offers loan handsets during repairs?

Am an on-account customer with a cracked screen, had registered for repair using Oppo's first party service then realised I would be without a device.

If they do I will look to cancel direct with Oppo and go via 2D.

Cheers,
Chris

I doubt they would. Carriers stopped it years ago as customers would not return them

I've had some luck with loan devices, but with the complexity of migrating OTPs and other applications, if I've damaged a phone enough to require repairs that I can't get done same day, I'll bite the bullet and get a new device, and sell the repaired device once it's returned to me. Alternatively, you'd be better off buying an extremely cheap device to use as a spare of your own, as it'll probably still be a better experience than the loan devices they offer. This is all based off of the devices offered to me when I needed my Nexus 6P repaired, so a wee while ago.
