Did anyone else have their 2degrees fiber go down this morning for a few hours? I had emails from multiple services this morning telling me they couldn't access the internet. Home Assistant, Blink cameras, Yolink leak detectors, etc.

Update, it went down again around 8:45 a.m. and is still down, and their tech support phone line is closed and not letting people into the queue. It sounds to me like a major outage. The status page says nothing is wrong.

Come on 2degrees, I've been with you for at least a decade, you're better than this. At least answer the phone or update your status page.

Yep me included - nothing on the broadband section of the 2degrees status page at the time.

Yep, had at least 4 drop outs. And it's still down now.

Calling 2degrees soon.

Same here, also in Wellington. PPPoE link went offline around that time. Switched to DHCP and the connection only stays up in short bursts. Still happening now. Will also be calling 2d.

I'm in Brooklyn in Wellington, it went down at 1:15am and it's still down for me. Of course I checked the status pages on 2 Degrees and Chorus, but nothing showing. Geekzone was my next port of call - I probably just should have started here!

Maybe this outage relates to the migration to the Vocus network. As the old network doesn't support DHCP

So is it a 4 Degrees outage or 11 x 2 degrees outages? :)

I'll see myself out.

Mine is also down, and can't get through on the phone. :/ Anyone know if this is another network change I need to do on my router? About 2 months ago I changed over to DHCP coz a similar thing happened.

Edit: and as I submit this message it came back up! Spooky.

Miramar based - no luck calling the landline guess influx of calls. Tethering it is.

Mine was down from about 8:45 and has just come back up now. 9:30ish (Lower Hutt Based)

Of course in the mean time, I'd screwed around with my wan settings, because I'm sure I saw somewhere that it has migrated from PPPoe to dhcp...that sure as hell didn't help things.

And as others noticed, no change in status page

ditto here in Birchville (Upper Hutt)

it went down from 1:15am, figured it was telling me to go to bed lol

I think it may have been briefly back up around 7:30am but not for long

Checked Chorus and Orcon sites, no outages for my area

It's up again for now... some of the systems in my house are pretty good at emailing me when internet goes down and comes back up.

I use uptime robot on my external accessible sites, that works fairly well.  Of course that doesn't tell me if it's me or my isp....

Connection I am monitoring - this connection had already been migrated to Vocus also.
