I just experienced a (very rare) fibre outage with 2Degrees.

The problem went away after I rebooted all the things, but my gear is typically rock-solid and this might have been just coincidence.

The outage was only for ~5min

Anyone else experience anything similar just now?

Nope. Been fine all day (Ive been in Google meets most of the day too).

Am in Auckland - so possibly local to you - wherever that is.

Ok, thanks.

Also in Auckland - South.

My Opnsense firewall was looking a little sketchy with the PPPoE daemon hogging 75% of all CPU resources, but I figured that was due to the 'outage'.

Anyway, outages are a very rare occurrence with 2D, so I have nothing to complain about, just trying to figure out if it was me or them.

Any issues showing on the ChorusNZ website?

You mean this one?
https://www.chorus.co.nz/outages

I didn't know this was a thing; looks very handy!

How accurate is it?

Nothing showing on it now in any case, but I've been up and running for a bit now.

It's the Chorus website and they manage alot of the Fibre network in New Zealand so accurate as the staff that add outages to it
