Anyone else having wifi calling issues today with 2degrees?
Can’t get any of our 2D phones to connect.
Have rebooted phones and router etc. And also switched from primary 2D Internet connection to backup connection.
Kogan and Spark wifi calling are working fine.

Yes, 2nd day in a row that doesn't work for us. Ironically it worked Mon morning when I had to call 111! hopefully it gets resolved asap otherwise I may need to quickly source another provider.

I've seen this before with 2D over the last couple of years though, randomly stops and hours/days later comes back.... it's probably an expired self-signed cert on an ipsec gateway :p

Thanks good to know it's not just us.

Have you logged a fault?
I'm just doing that now.

I've been in multiple calls today and have been using WiFi calling totally fine on 2degrees. I've got barely any coverage here and it was working totally fine. Wifes phone is also the same, working totally fine.

So sounds like this may only be affecting some providers.

No, nothing with VoWifi specifically. We are doing upgrades across the packet and IMS cores, but any issues they cause would not affect VoWifi alone.

Message I just got back from 2degrees:

Apologies for the issue, we are currently experiencing problems with wifi calling and are working as quickly as we can to get it resolved.
We do not currently have an ETA but are hoping to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It was a weird one as there's 4 of us here that are 2D and two of us had no wifi calling while the other 2 did.
It was like that for most of the morning then the other 2 also stopped.

We have no cell coverage at all here so rely on the wifi calling.
I have a Spark esim in my phone as well and the wifi calling on that has been working.
My son has a Kogan SIM and that's fine too.

My WiFi Calling with 2degrees never worked. It used to work when I was with them some time ago, then I switched away, and when I switched back it never worked again. My other SIM card from One NZ worked like a charm. Not sure exactly what is wrong with it, and an email to customer service didn't seem to resolve it, but I've left it as it is as I didn't want to face calling and waiting 30-45 minutes to speak to a person who will probably tell me everything is fine with my account...

Are you guys still having issues with it? My wifi calling hasn't connected since roughly the same time you started this thread.

@2fst4u Outage was resolved that day

What basic fault checking have you done?

I don't expect to do basic fault checking for wifi calling. It's literally just a toggle in settings. It once worked and now doesn't.
