Hi all.

Anyone else on Orcon's LLU with their homehub experiencing  no Internet in the morning?  This seems to happen to me every 4 days on the average.  So far this billing month it's been 1.35am, 1.25am, 3.59am,  and today 1.40 am. I think I mite put my old DSE router back in to see what it is.  The big give away that it's off line is that my PAP2T box  is off line when I check things before going to work in the morning..

That's happened as well.  Last week it was off for several hours but still showed connected, then the connect started again without rebooting the router at my end. was looking at the connection from work when wife said it had died..

It has happened once to me. Dropped at 2amish a few weeks back, took a router reboot at 7am when I woke up to reconnect.

Same as scottjpalmer

I think its a fact with the homehub if it looses the ADSL the only way to reconnect is to power off and back on.

A couple of hard power offs a week I can live with.

Here is my history as you can see diconnnections are comenn and this is the Howick exchange.

"The only way to learn some- thing is to do it"

Our internet connection (Orcon+, Pakuranga exchange) often stops working but the Homehub status page shows that the ADSL is still connected. Only way to get it working again is to reboot the modem.

Seems to happen approx once every 24-48 hourd here. Only time the conneciton has managed to stay on for more than 48 hours was when there was no one using the connection for that time period, so it seems that the homehub has some issue when there's a lot of traffic occuring.

Have reported the issue to Orcon and the reponse said they recently pushed a new firmware which could solve the issue. Will report back later with our results.

4.3.52.6.300 here so seems mine one is more up to date than yours. Not sure when it was updated as I only just noticed the FW version now.
