Hi there

Does anyone know when this issue with 2degrees will be sorted?

I am connected, but downloading is very slow.

I am trying to download a Windows 11 ISO from MS, and it says it will take 24 hours.

My ping is high too 50-97ms I'm on fibre so should be low less than 10ms ping

seems overseas traffic is slow mostly

Not sure what's going on with 2degrees at the moment, been a few days

What about the network status message, anything to add?

There is that international submarine cable that goes out of Mangawhai and that's between Auckland and Whangarei?

Was having a quick look around and stumbled across this. For the past 3-4 days now our connection is dropping constantly. Should have 500/300 and usually get line speed about 95% of the time. But these last few days when it DOES manage to establish a handshake, we are averaging about 50-80mbps. Ping through the roof and basically unable to do even the most basic tasks, let alone attempting to game.

Would be nice if someone actually had some answers (yes I know this is not an official place, but the 2degrees tier 1 helpdesk doesn't seem to want to help either other than "if there's something on the website just wait for it to go away". That tells me nothing, and also doesn't give a timeframe or let me know what is exactly degrading ours and everyone I've spoken to near me' service.

For context, I am in Manukau area closer to Auckland Airport.
