Hey team,

Can someone help me confirm if this a "me" issue or a bit more widespread.

The site https://registrations.venture.scouts.nz/ will not load on my fibre connection. Yet if I hotspot onto my 2degrees cellular it will work from the same PC. Initially thought "oh it'll be something with IPv6", but its not as the site only resolves to an IPv4 address.

I am on a fixed IP address with 2degrees - not that that should really matter.

So if someone can confirm if it loads or just times out for them on 2degrees that would help.

FWIW here's an mtr to it from my PC:

Some pretty serious packet loss on hop #7!

The mtr for cellular hot spotting is vastly different:

Host                                                                        Loss%   Snt   Last   Avg  Best  Wrst StDev
 1. _gateway                                                                  0.0%     5    2.8   3.0   2.3   4.0   0.6

 3. 192.168.27.41                                                             0.0%     5   42.4  35.3  24.2  47.2   9.6
 4. (waiting for reply)

Dont have any other websites being a problem so highly dubious its a "me issue". But ya never know.

Cheers all. Bit weird I'm affected but I'll do some more and deeper digging.

Actually would one of the 2d people be able to do a mtr for me to compare please?

Thanks.

Very similar as mine. Other than you seem to have a hop I do not to bundle-ether42.223.bdr03-ipt-4edenpar-syd.au.as38195.net

Maybe the static IP range you're on has been blacklisted by the hosting provider...

Update: contacted both 2d and scouts NZ. Both replied stating they'll look into it for me. And it is now working - not sure which party was able to resolve. But thanks to both.
