i am trying to work out what is the go with 2 degrees prepay recharge credit and monthly plans. i have looked at the help and got nothing helpful from it.

 

 

 

i have $8 prepay credit. i want to select/use the $8 montly plan yet when i try to it says not enough credit.

 

 

 

what am i missing here? can i not have a neutral/$0 credit?

It's possible that you have a pending charge that takes your balance below $8 perhaps? If you don't have an active plan right now, then you will be using casual rates which would eat in to your balance.

@calm put handset into flight mode or disable mobile data and try adding the $8 package again as above it could be reserved credit for pending charge

it is on flight mode - the sim is not being used. i wanted to txt so need to add the plan..

 

 

 

nothing pending showing in the dashboard thingo- last texts and call 1st jan whihc was the last time it was used.

 

 

 

so i should be able to have a $0 balance? has anyone done it?

What? Of course if you have $8 and spend $8 then the balance will be $0 this is basic math

Power up the phone and try adding the $8 addon from the 2degrees app

Turn the phone off completely and turn it on again.

 

Also try adding another couple dollars to the account and see if that helps. Sometimes short codes use up some of your balance. I always leave in more credit than I need to buy a monthly sub so when the period ends there’s always a few dollars balance left over what’s required for the next top up.

sorted now thanks to some 2degrees backend intervention. in theory it should have worked the way i was trying 🤷
