Ever since I have been with 2degrees ( a year or so), to send MMS I have needed to switch wifi calling off, is this to be expected?

I think I can receive them but only from other 2 degrees phones. I've been getting around it by either turning off WIFI or using Signal, but it would be good to get to the bottom of it

I use an iPhone if that makes any difference

MMS is tunneled over VoWifi, yes. You should not need to disable VoWifi for it to work.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

@mdooher I just tested with my Samsung S25+ in flight mode and sent a MMS (not RCS) to a friends iPhone and they got it

That confirms MMS are sending over Wi-Fi calling

Edit: 50 cent charge for the sending of the MMS showed straight away in th 2degrees app. Soup kitchen for me for the rest of the month now lol

@linux Thanks for your sacrifice, nothing like taking one for the team. I guess I'll have to look deeper
