I used to have a number that I shared my postpay data with.

This sim had no active, recurring plan associated with it, and used casual rates if needed, which wasn't.

It was only used for data and worked fine in a portable wifi device for years.

It has been sometime since used and the sim expired.

With a new sim, it appears that I cannot just use the casual rate and share data to it.

Can someone confirm if this is correct?

Thanks.

No issues sharing data to a prepay number with no base plan active

Have you activated the new number?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I expect the sim will need at least some credit on it?
