Can someone help me?

i recently change my outer from Dlink to the orcon homehub, i noticed my speed is slower, did a test today and i am shocking!!

Download : 0.12mb
upload: 0.41
server: auckland <50m

anyone knows why?????

Can you paste us some line specs?

Are you on Orcon+ or Orcon?

not sure how to paste in the forum, will try tonight,, i am orcon plus customer, however, i have gone over my 5GB bundle, but dont think that could be a reason to be slowed down!

i live in hillsborough auckland..

Orcon doesn't slow connections down when exceeding the bundle, you will just be charged overage charges.

Try it from a desktop PC with any firewalls turned off.

Try using your previous Hub and do the tests again. If you get good speeds from that then could be your orcon hub at fault. - one possible cause....

thanks guys, i have called orcon and hey rekon something might be wrong with the exchange! it should not be this slow!

found out my slow speed problem is due to the telecom cabnet...SUCKs

the solution is to put me back to te telecome wholesale.... my question is , do i get charged as LLU price or wholesale? what sort of average speed i should expect to get??

You should still be paying the same price and be moved on the to closest UBA plan Orcon can provide you.

If I'm not mistaken, Telecoms promising 10mbps connections for people on cabinets.
