ive got a website hosted with orcon running joomla, its just so slow to do anything, im waiting atleast 3 secs for each page to load sometimes more, but other websites like trademe are very quick and i know its nothing to do with my connection.  even when i host a website running joomla on my own broadband connection using a domain and static ip, i can browse that website very quickly no problems at all from a friends house on broadband.  is anyone else having problems like this with orcon hosting?

Hi Gareth - I personally have noted Joomla performance varies between different hosting providers. Maybe get a second hosting account with another provider as a test area? I have done this myself.
