It's been behaving like this over past couple of weeks.
It's nothing to do with my modem.
But here goes:

DSL Status: UP
DSL Modulation Mode: Auto
DSL Path Mode: FAST
Downstream Rate: 7796 Kbps
Upstream Rate: 811 Kbps
Downstream Margin: 15 db
Upstream Margin: 14 db
Downstream Line Attenuation: 32
Upstream Line Attenuation: 16
Downstream Transmit Power: 20
Upstream Transmit Power: 12
LOS Errors: 0

Modem stats look good. I just tried some tests to LA and San Francisco, and i only got slightly higher results. It's peak time so cant be too surprised really.

Obviously not now, it only happens in the evening.
And I don't accept that it's "that time of the day". That's why I left Orcon in the first place.
