Looks like they've only designed it with 1024x768 in mind. Not very impressed.

As you can see, the left side gets cropped out, and the lower your resolution (or window size) the worser it gets. Generally, in case of a resized window (or lower screen res) the content should be scaled appropriately, or at the least, should be scrollable. What's annoying is that one can't scroll to the left to see the content - the only way to see it is to maximize or resize the window.

FYI, my res is 1280x800; I can see the full website, but only if I maximize the window, or resize its width to about 1024px

I'm running at 1920 x 1080 - the site looks fine to me.

Lol, yes there is. Still looks good though.

Actually, I'm wondering if it's a fixed size, rather than a scaling site...haven't tried lower resolutions myself...

Yeah you can see by just changing the size of the browser window, it doesn't change its size (unlike the geekzone site which does depending on size of browser window).

I'll do a grab at a lower res..

Heh, ZollyMonsta's screenshot looks weirder than mine. Yes, it does look like a fixed-size site Dratsab.

This is neat, I haven't come across any major site in recent times that does this! :)

Nah, the site doesn't auto-size... so it's hard fixed at its current size.

The sad reality is mainstream NZ websites still need to cater to IE6 and 800x600 users. However that's no excuse for not doing something smarter with a fluid or elastic layout, or change the css stylesheet when larger resolutions are detected.

Also why on earth they chose a company name that hadn't secured the rights to the .com, .net and .co.nz for (twodegrees and 2degrees vs 2degreesmobile) is also madness...
