I've been a fairly satisfied Slingshot customer for over 2 years now after becoming unhappy with both Ihug and Xnet in terms of speed. Lately SS has been fast, but not quite as quick as it had been in the past, eg speed tests at around 150KBps (international) at peak times. Still plenty quick for me.

Something has happened this week though - just downloaded off two separate torrents at over 2MBps, and here's my speedtest results.

edit: Can an admin please un**** my post? I dont know why this forum software has to make everything so difficult.

[EDIT MOD RC: Took the easy process of adding images to post.]

Geekzone doesn't use bbcode markup which is probably what you've pasted in there, it would be nice if it did but it doesn't.

However clicking the insert image icon in the editor is not rocket surgery...

When did they start doing surgeries on rockets? I may have missed it on my news reader... :D

There's a rich text editor with icons. You click the icon, enter the URL and it inserts the picture. It's not hard or difficult and requires no "codes".

Everything seems difficult to you, and I've seen every single of your posts there's a complaint. I am generally quite ok with criticism (just look in our Geekzone forum), but I have not much patience with trolls.

I have warned you in a private message, and I am making it public now. Next time I will just ban and delete your posts.

I see you are already suspended or banned in other forums - you even use this avatar on GP Forums:

The rich text editor makes my brain hurt because it adds tons of unnecessary page breaks to my post. I don't know why you're getting so upset, you should be taking this feedback onbaord and upgrading to decent forum software. but meh, it's your website.

I have no issues with the editor. Feel free to collect a full refund on the way out

How about you learn basic html then? I do not know it in and out, and have to check how to post here, as the rich text editor does not work at work.

You are right, it is Mauricio's website, and his livelyhood. So you can either, a) live with it and take part nicely without stupid comments or b) leave?

What would you 'suggest' as 'decent' forum software? What you have to realise, is that using a premade package will not give everything that Mauricio needs and wants in a forum. And that this custom designed package does do the job very well. The only thing lacking is a system that suits everyone, and make everyone happy. But then we cannot please everyone can we?

I don't mind criticism - if they come in the right time and place. If you post (like the others) in the appropriate forum then we look into it. But you make a point of writing how crap this whole thing is in every single post.

So as said before - collect your refund on the way out (oh, it's free, isn't it?) or just leave. But if you are going to be a nuisance then be prepared to get the boot soon.

I am locking this discussion because I can't see it going anywhere near the original topic now.
