Will 2degrees give you a full bank-like statement of what charges/ credits have been applied to your prepay? It's extremely frusturating how vodafone/telecom force you to call their customer service to find out what a unexplained charge was or to see what something REALLY cost - it's clear they have a record of the charges, they just don't want to show their customers!

This would be a great way for 2degrees to differentiate themselves and be very easy/cheap to do.

Are you registered for GST? If so, request a tax invoice every month. If they don't comply complain to the IRD.

Good idea, but I think such a invoice would only show that you had purchased prepay minutes...

Err you would get a GST invoice for the purchase of prepaid credit, after that the IRD won't care.

And the ird do care about that, as a friend who was audited found out in that buying about $200-300 of prepay credit a month and not being able to show that it was used for business makes IRD man sad and want you to explain it...

Indeed. Online access to line-by-line statements would be awesome (the IRD doesn't seem to care where you got the invoice, as long as you got one). Like the "Your Telecom" screen on TWorld for XT customers, but nicer. Maybe a downloadable PDF or something?

I get the feeling that mobile companies are reluctant to provide full statements for prepaid customers.

That being the case, my wish is for something that should be far easier to stomach - allow us have self-help online review of our "last 10 transactions" or last 5 even.

Give us the ability to see for ourselves what our charges are (the benefit for the Teleco being customers having confidence in their charging integrity).

Wondering if 2degrees will have any sort of auto payment system like 2Talk where you can set a minimum amount say $2, then when reached it will add a set amount on to the account say $20 rather than having to do the normal prepay top up system..

It's so strange. How many other things do you buy and not get a record of what you got.

Imagine going to the supermarket and just getting the total of what is in your cart and having to trust that they added everything up properly.

Or giving your plumber $1000 to change the washers in your taps and they can let you know when you need to pay more money.
