Is this the Orcon mobile prefix?

0201 is assigned and 0202 is resurved to Orcon for non-geographical services.
if they are actively using the 0201 range and want people to route to it they should have let all the carriers know so i am sure they will add the number range if that is the case.

Also is 028 actually used for Cellphones? Yes its part of the 02 non geographic range like cellphones are a part of.. but not actually used on any cellphone networks. but used for other services?

Compass do.+ others do... Yes 025.. as 025 stopped before number porting came around.. does anyone in NZ still have a working 025 number ?

If you have no luck just phone them and ask them to do it manually. Worked a treat for me signing up with a PO Box (not supported on website).

Some Companies use it for Land lines as well.. (but still treated as non-geographic numbers).

025 numbers are the old Telecom TDMA network, deactivated 31 March 2007 6pm. These numbers are no longer in use.

Hi all, with thanks to SoundDude we are pleased to announce that SMS does indeed work both ways to 020. If anyone has an 028 number please PM me and I will send some test messages.

I have a ported 021 6 digit -> Compass mobile number that works on Vodafone's 2g and 3g networks, feel free to PM me if you want to test (I "chinwagged" my prepay 021 instead) I had the choice of an 028 but people might have gotten confused hence the choice of porting what is still effectively an "on-net" number.

Cheers, but I actually want a number that starts with 028 so I can double check that that range is routing correctly. I'm not sure how an 021 number ported to Compass, MVNOing on Vodafone works... I think it still has Vodafone's HOC.

Apologies to the earlier posts who may be feeling slightly miffed about lack of contact. If your prefix is not on the Chinwag form then please give our team a call on 0800 022 022 and they will make sure that you are registered.

Cheers!
