I beleive they do. A few people who have been roaming on 2degree's have reported this in the past on Geekzone.

ahh and a very good question!!!!!! EDGE would give the many of the 2G users much better performance with no device upgrade required but remember will be only active on the 2Deg network and not whilst roaming out of town on Vodafone.

that's a shame, EDGE is something I'd probably want while roaming off network on Vodafone

Based on the number of 2degrees sites I have seen go in, I dont think that I will ever be roaming off network if I move to them.

hmmm be interesting as to how pricing compares to vodafone.

If they have anything like $10 for 100mb and decent call plans ill be off like a flash!

Hi could you please clarify this?

I presume this is only on your own network, and not (as I will be doing in Dunedin) "roaming" on Vodafone?

Thanks.

It wouldn't be possible as Vodafone don't have a network that delivers EDGE.

I understand this, but perhaps someone at 2 Degrees knows more than we do about their plans. They probably do.
