Seems I was about as slow to grab hold of the chinwag promo as my Vodafone sim is to get a signal.

Was it limited to 50,000?

Whats the best way I can get 022 1234567 Wink

I guess that means all of the lucky people who did manage to sign up in time will receive a SIM card. Nice!

I'm picking that 022 1234567 will be one of the "85 Golden Numbers" they are going to be selling at auction - www.trademe.co.nz/2degrees

It isn't.  If you click on "Contact Us / About this store" you can get a list of the auctioned numbers, and what week they're going.  022 000 0000 is one, but 022 123 4567 isn't.

yeh me to, my brother ordered one also. How did you miss it? It was on for AGES. The SIMs are cheap enough anyways so just buy one.

I put my name down for a sim card from 2 degrees like maybe 4 weeks ago? I never received anything. They sent me an email saying I would receive it within a few weeks...

Lies! It's dumb cause I wanted to see what their network was like :(

On another thread they said that all those that applied would be receiving their sim after launch date. There seems to be no patience these days. Its not as if you are without service, its not as if you paid anything. Just wait.

Did you read their site when entering? They were clear: the SIM cards would be sent when the network is released.

Also 2 Degrees has now announced the launch date and updated us on the SIM posting date.

If you take your time to read things then you don't go around calling people liars without basis.

lol.. I wasn't being serious about calling them Liers... I'm not really all that bothered.
If I get it.. I get it.. don't worry me!

Not sure why everyone is taking it personally? Hmm..

I am guessing the number you get on the free SIM card will be random [as opposed to choose from a list of available #]
