2 degrees has 435 live sites to date in four locations – Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. In Queenstown, which was chosen in part because it is a “hot tourist destination for New Zealand and international visitors”, there are just five sites as McCabe says the town’s topography makes it relatively easy to deploy coverage.

It will certainly be interesting to see how Vodafone respond to this, the preimium currently being charged is now long gone. I think Vodafone are in for a massive wakeup call, weather they know it or not.
