Hi Stephen

Get set to start chatting, because the Great New Zealand Chinwag has started.

Here's how it works.

Just look out in your mailbox in the next week or so for your Chinwag pack. It's the blue one that doesn't look like a bill. In it you'll find a shiny new 2degrees SIM that's all charged up with $5 credit for you to call anyone you like, on us.

Open it up, pop that SIM in your phone and get calling. But do it smartly, because your chinwag credit will disappear at the end of October if you haven't used it.

We've had a huge response to the Great New Zealand Chinwag so please don't despair if your SIM is not is not with you on day one - it might take us a week or so to get it out to you. We'll text you the night we pop it in the post, so you'll know when to expect it.

Thanks for joining us. Enjoy!

.. the $5 chinwag only lasts until end of October :S

No e-mail here yet.

I wonder if they're sending the sims out first come first served, or whether it's entirely random?

They'll probably send them out in registration order.

10,000 a day i'd say....

Might pay to wait a few days before porting over your 021 or 027 if you're going to go thatway, they are going to be very busy!!! ( i hope )

Slingshot is also launching their pricing this week too, what an exciting week :)

Probably useful if someone from 2degrees is reading this and still have some time before sending more of this email...

I'd rather be impatient about coming prices then free simcard with $5 on it, because I could get one for $2 at my local supermarket on 5th :D

anyway, got e-mail too

Same here, I would probably not survive another moment and buy the $2 retail SIM and load it up with my number :P
