Can confirm Wyndham St DSE is selling both 2 and 20 SIMs. Ironically the Queen Street store is not listed in the 2degrees store locator on the website.

After having to activate it, I had trouble changing the number to what I originally wanted but eventually changed it to my DOB :)

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

You put the sim in the phone and make a call and it tells you to enter a pin etc like the vodafone ones do when you first use them.

Here in Invercargill I couldn't find them at New World, DSE had only $20 sims and Warehouse stationary had both.

Thanks GeekGuy and bjhoogs, didn't know if the network was live yet to use the SIM.

MysticNZ - I bought the $2 SIM for that reason.
