How does 2degrees offer 9 cent text messaging to any nz network? howcome vodafone and telecom offer 20 cent texts on prepay but 2degrees can offer it for 9 cents? how much do termination rates cost for sms? 2degrees uses vodafone's network to roam in no coverage areas so how can they use vodafone's network and offer 9 cent per text? if they are running at a loss with text messages i wonder how long it will last.

vodafone and telecom may offer lower priced text messaging deals but you have to be on a plan or have an addon to get them yet 2degrees offer 9 cent text on prepay without a plan or addon which is great. i bet vodafone and telecom are going to lower their text messaging cost from 20 cents to 9 cents now otherwise loads of people will probably switch.
