I think it's 22c (2 degrees and landlines) for a month after you topup, then goes to 44c.

It has already been mentioned on here several times, and mentions it on
2dgrees website.<br>
22cents within 30 days of your top-up to other degrees mobiles and NZ landlines. then 44cents per minute.

You're quite right. The magic top rewards last 30 days from your last top and are:
- 22c to 2degrees mobiles.
- 22c to NZ landlines.
- XX Free texts (dependant on the amount you topped up) e.g top-up $20 get 100 FREE text, top-up $30 get 150 FREE text (you get the picture...)

After that, the talking rates return to 44c and the texting to 9c.

If you have a residual balance say $50 and then topup $20 does the 22c callrate apply until the $20 is used or does it apply to any calls within 30days i.e. does it apply to calls with the previous credit?

I would say it applies to all calls for the following 30 days, as they state.

So when you get $5 free credit for porting your number and then top up $20, you will get 30 days to use your $25 at the lower rate of 22c per minute to landlines and 2degrees mobiles.
