Hi there.

I was looking at purchasing a VF (Vodafone) Handset (Curently looking at Iphone or Xperia X1) But I would like to be able to Buy the Handset, then pop a 2Degrees Sim Card In. The reason I ask this is because I know that 2D + Vodafone operate on the same frequencies, but I read somewhere today that 2D hasnt launched its 3G network yet (Correct me if im wrong).

Would it still be sweet to do this or not?

Cheers for all the help/advice. :)

Mike

Wrong forum but the iPhone totally rocks on XT. And they offer data plans.

Sorry, but how does this help?

If OP is getting an iPhone, then presumably data usage will be on his mind.

At the present point in time 2 Degrees (and I am a fan) are terrible for the iPhone:

1. No data plans, casual data at 50c/Mb
2. EDGE only, at best

It's simply something to consider. Until 2 Degrees declares their data hand.

Now that is helpful.
