Hi All,

Got my free SIM yesterday, First call was to a mates 2Deg number ( he got his 2 days before me )
2nd call was to my 021 mobile ( works fine )
3rd call to mates 027 mobile ( ported to vodafone ) just disconnects.
4th call to my Wifes 027 mobile ( ported to vodafone ) just disconnects.
5th call to home number ported from Telecom to World exchange and this worked.

Bizzar that I can not call 027 numbers on the vodafone network.
I do not know of anyone else on the Telecom network to try this out.

Tried to call customer service but gave up from being on hold for 5 mins or so.

I guess giving away a whole lot of SIM cards with credit is a good way of finding the bugs fast and it costs the punters nothing so they dont get too upset.

i could call 027 on vodafone network the first time it didnt ring , but the second time it went like normal

I tried a few times and it just disconnects, it is bizzar.

oh i found out that i couldnt ring my old 027 work phone number the one i dumped when i got a free 2d sim from work

Note that although 2D calls to WxC works, calls from WxC to 2D does not work. Apparently there are some negotiations going on.

Exactly the same problem with 2talk phone service. Can ring 2talk phones from2D but cant ring 2D from 2talk. Just after posting this I found the answer myself so I will start another thread to help all 2talk customers call 2 degrees numbers.

is there any recorded message when tryin to call wxc # or 2talk from a 2d cell. 2D i don't think has any interconnection with the 2 and dont know when or if they are going to. i no a few people that arnt moving to 2d because of it. hope it gets sorted soon

Anything I suggest or say is my own thoughts and not provided by anyone else unless stated

No problems calling 2talk from 2degrees cellphone was able to from day 1. I have started a new thread as to how I fixed the problem of calling 2 degrees 022 number from 2talk here
